Govt Proposes Schedule H1 in Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945

NEW DELHI, 7 APRIL: With indiscriminate use of antibiotics leading to cases of microbial resistance and consequent health hazards, government has proposed to amend the Drugs and Cosmetic Rules soon to put a check on this practice. The MOH & FW, Central Govt vide GSR 228 (E) dated 20.3.2012 notified draft Rules under powers conferred by Section 12 & Section 33 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. Persons interested in making any objections or suggestions on the proposed draft rules may write to the Central Government within the period of 45 days through post to the Secretary, MOH & FW, GOI, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi-110011
